JKUAT IP INCUBATION CENTRE OVERVIEW
JKUAT Industrial Park Incubation Centre is an innovation support Centre designed to accelerate the successful development of start-up and fledging businesses by providing the necessary support (business development services, seed capital, space, high speed internet, administrative support, professional guidance and mentorship) to innovators who wish to launch themselves into a world of technology- based business careers with an array of targeted resources and services for a period of twelve (12) months, with possibility of extension. The main goal of the Incubation Centre is to provide assistance to increase growth potential of innovations, resulting in a self-sustaining and profitable business venture.
Production Department Statement
The Production Department has the mandate to successfully implement technologically viable products, services and innovative projects in line with industry trends and best practices.
Among the activities the department is engrossed in are:
- Location of facilities.
- Plant layouts and material handling.
- Product design
- Process design
- Production and planning control
- Quality control
- Materials management
- Maintenance management.
A key focus of the production department is Efficiency. The specialized technical staff ensures the necessary Manpower, Machines and Quality Assurance Test Equipment are always available to meet the clients' varying and specific requirements, resulting to high quality end products and solutions.
